Rev. She is the President and CEO of Elev8 Health Inc., an organization dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health in underserved communities and equipping faith-based organizations with the resources—including philanthropic funding, foundation support, and strategic tools—needed to improve public health outcomes nationwide.

A master strategist in partnership development and coalition building, she has successfully united organizations and stakeholders to drive actionable solutions for marginalized populations. One of her most notable accomplishments is founding the 100 Million Reach Collective—a bold, unprecedented coalition of African American faith leaders from across the nation who collectively influence and inspire over 100 million individuals. Together, they address the social determinants of health contributing to poor outcomes in underserved communities, reimagining solutions that are as collaborative as they are transformative.
Dr. English’s impact is further demonstrated through initiatives like the M.O.M.S. Tour, which has served over 20,000 pregnant and postpartum women and families across the nation, as well as the development of vital public health resources, including faith-based toolkits for maternal and youth mental health. During her tenure as Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, she set a new standard for collaborative public health responses, launching groundbreaking public-private partnerships around key national priorities.
